Classwork

Reading- The second round of Literature Circle books were given out today.  I think the kids are pretty excited about the new titles.  We will have a meeting this Friday.  Please check with your child to make sure their reading and jobs are complete.
Literature Circles will meet tomorrow at 11:30.  Please make sure your child is prepared.  Any unfinished reading and written jobs will need to be completed at home.

Writing- Informational Writing-As the last Informational pieces trickling  in we will move on to our next unit of study in writing.   “Writing in Response to Reading Informational Text: Point of View”
Math-Reviewed unit 3 today and tomorrow. We will take the assessment on Wednesday or Thursday.   

Social Studies- YAT

Writing- Informational Writing- We are in the final stages of being completed. I am very impressed with the quality of writing being turned in.   
Math- We wrapped up our problem solving!  The kids did a great job on not giving up and trying several strategies.  Monday we will complete Chapter 3 and take the unit test on Wednesday.  

Social Studies- Debit/ATM Cards: The Good and the Bad
Book Buddies- Today we enjoyed reading to our buddies!  Great job Fifth Graders!!!
