Social Studies-Monday-Jobs were assigned and we had our business meetings.  A HUGE thanks to the parents that came in and ran a business meeting.  
Tuesday we worked on job training and accountants were busy writing paychecks and getting the business finances in order for our day at towne.

Reading-Today we wrapped up our second Literature Circle novel.  We will take a break and read some Non-Fiction text and respond using Evidence Based Terms.
We will resume Literature Circles after Thanksgiving break.

Writing- We will continue working on Opinion writing.

Social Studies-Campaign Teams. Students will be paid $5.00 for working collaboratively with their candidate.

Literature Circles will meet Thursday at 11:30.  Please make sure your child is prepared.  Any unfinished reading and written jobs will need to be completed at home.

Writing- Today we completed our rough and final copy of our first Opinion piece.  Our prompt was, “Should Kids Have Cell Phones?”
Math-Finished up some Noetic Math problems.  We will begin Unit 4 tomorrow.  

Social Studies- Completed Job Applications and talked about Interviewing Skills.  We will have our interviews tomorrow.  The kids are very excited.

Writing- Informational Writing-As the last Informational pieces trickling  in we will move on to our next unit of study in writing.   “Writing in Response to Reading Informational Text: Point of View”
Math-Reviewed unit 3 today and tomorrow. We will take the assessment on Thursday.
