Classwork	Reading- Scholastic News ”The Race to Save the Elephants” Writing- We are having a great time creating classroom news papers.  We are working on Informational Text and Creative Writing.  The students are having a blast.  I will post them as soon as they are final and ready for publication.  Their computer skills continue to amaze me. Writing- Deconstructing the Prompt.   Reading- Literature Circle titles have been handed out.  Please take a moment and chat with your child about the book they are reading. It is very important that they are prepared for group discussion on friday.    Spelling- Week 15 Math- 5th-Open Response with a rubric        6th-

Reminders	**Friendly reminder if your child is sick with a fever they need to be fever free for 24 hours before they return to school.  We have had 3 confirmed cases of Strep in our class since winter break.
