Classwork	Reading- Paired-Test Reading- “Worldwide Loss of Bees a Growing Concern” and “The American Chestnut” Writing- Gathering information from articles to support my opinion. Creative Writing- Many students are working on various writing  topics.  We will share some of them at conferences! =) Reading- Literature Circle- NO Literature Circles this week.  We will resume and get new titles next Tuesday. Math- 5th-Constructed Responses on Standard 5.3. Add and subtract fractions. Answers must include a diagram, numbers and words. If you have a chance please look at your child's work.
Homework	Math-Finish constructed responses if you didn’t in class. Math- 1.13 & 1.14 Reading-  20 minutes   Spelling-No spelling next week PAW- No PAW next week *MATH STUDENTS- It is VERY important that you are checking your math teachers blog.
Reminders	**Friendly reminder if your child is sick with a fever they need to be fever free for 24 hours before they return to school. Lots of vitamin C. =) ** Valentine’s Day Card Exchange, Tuesday, February 14 **SCHOOL STORE EVERY WEDNESDAY AFTER SCHOOL. LOCATION MRS. LENZ’S ROOM Conferences Wednesday, February 15 and Thursday, February 16. I would like ALL students to attend their conference. It's a time to celebrate learning. NO SCHOOL- February 15-20
