Classwork	Reading-Class novel Number the Stars by Lois Lowry.  Be sure to ask your student about this book.  This is one of  my favorite titles to read and discuss. *Scholastic News- This week is our first edition of SN.  Please ask your student about this. *Introduced Evidence Based Terms (EBT) *Read Aloud- A Week in the Woods by Andrew Clements Writing- Elements of Narrative Writing.  We are in the editing and publishing stage.  I have read some excellent narratives.   Math-1.8 Measuring Volume by Iterating Layers   Social Studies- Geography of the United States
Homework	Math- Journal pages 21-24 Study Link 1.8   Reading-20 Minutes    Paragraph A Week (PAW)- Labor Day.  This is due on Friday.
