Classwork	Reading- The second round of Literature Circle books were given out today.  I think the kids are pretty excited about the new titles.  We will have a meeting this Friday.  Please check with your child to make sure their reading and jobs are complete. Literature Circles will meet tomorrow at 11:30.  Please make sure your child is prepared.  Any unfinished reading and written jobs will need to be completed at home. Writing- Informational Writing- We are in the final stages of being completed. I am very impressed with the quality of writing being turned in.    Math-  We worked a little on problem solving in class. I introduced the following five problem solving strategies to use with Open Responses and Exemplars .     *Problem Solving *Reasoning and Proof *Communication *Connections *Representation Social Studies- YAT-Debit and Credit Cards
Homework	**Literature Circle reading and written jobs if they were not completed today in class. Math-We will have our unit 3 test next Tuesday or Wednesday. =) Reading- 20 minutes uninterrupted   Writing-PAW- Your Position on Halloween
